Have you ever worn your dog's shock collar around your neck, and used it?

I haven’t. I want to, but I’m afraid. I would never make it on Jack@$$. Have you been shocked by your dogs shock collar? Does it hurt? Could you describe the feeling? Would you do it again?

No, I don’t put the collar on my neck.
I do however ALWAYS match the intensity of the collar with a dogs normal collar correction. This means putting both on my wrist and making sure that both feel the same. Without doing this one or the other would loose it’s effectiveness .

The thing with an electric collar is that you can make it hurt IF that is your desire. But, that makes YOU, not the collar, the abuser doesn’t it. Electric collars are adjustible for a reason.

lol yeah, when I was really little I put it on and barked…. it hurt pretty bad… I would never use a shock collar on my dog again… I say if someone is gonna use it on their beloved pet they should give it a try… it feels like a really hard pinch on your neck… heck no!!! I will NEVER do it again

My aunt has some yappy schnauzers and she used one once. I tried it on my hand but not my neck. We just rubbed it on the couch (for the vibration then touched it. It just made my hand tingle but the louder the dog gets or the more he/she barks the voltage goes up. I am not a fan of them but some people are.

    Why on earth would I?
I’m not interested in deliberately getting a pop of static either but that’s all that a training collar does.

Why on earth would anyone *want* to be a jackazz, pray tell?
