Should I Use A No Bark Collar?
If your dog is prone to nuisance barking and it bothers you, your family, friends and neighbors and nothing you do helps, then a bark suppression collar would be a good choice. It is a safe and effective way to train your dog to curb his or her excessive barking.
Remember, barking is a normal behavior for dogs, its how they talk. They may bark to attract attention, to communicate a message, or to express excitement. A lot of us dog owners encourage our pets to speak (bark) by rewarding their bark with a treat. They also bark because of stress, anxiety, or loneliness so punishment can often cause problems by reinforcing a cycle of undesirable behavior.
